How often should you take CBD?

You can take CBD as often as you need it. For example, our daily CBD gummy is meant to be taken at the beginning of every day. Other gummies, like the sleep aid gummies, can be taken every night. For pain relief gummies, you may end up taking CBD several times a day (depending on the strength of your initial dose).

The frequency with which you should take CBD depends on various factors, including the reason for using CBD, your body's response, the form of CBD you're using, and its concentration. Here are some general guidelines:

Purpose of Use: The reason for using CBD plays a significant role in determining how often you should take it. For example, if you're using it for chronic pain relief, you might need to take it more frequently than if you're using it for occasional stress relief.

Body's Response: Everyone's body responds differently to CBD. Some people may experience relief for several hours, while others might need to take it more frequently. It's important to pay attention to how your body responds and adjust the frequency accordingly.

Form of CBD: Different forms of CBD have varying durations of effect. For instance, CBD oil might have a quicker onset but shorter duration compared to edibles, which take longer to kick in but may last longer.

Dosage and Concentration: Higher concentrations of CBD may have longer-lasting effects, which could mean less frequent dosing is needed. Conversely, lower doses may require more frequent use to maintain steady levels in your system.

Gradual Approach: If you're new to CBD, it's often recommended to start with a low dose and gradually increase it. This approach can also apply to the frequency of use – starting with once a day and adjusting as needed based on your body's response.

Consultation with Healthcare Provider: It's important to consult with a healthcare provider, especially if you're using CBD to manage a health condition or if you're taking other medications. They can provide personalized advice based on your health situation.

In summary, there's no one-size-fits-all answer for how often you should take CBD. It's essential to consider your individual needs, the type and strength of CBD you're using, and how your body reacts. Start with a lower frequency and adjust as needed, and always seek advice from a healthcare professional for guidance tailored to your specific situation.

Can full spectrum CBD gummies get you high?

Full-spectrum CBD gummies contain all the compounds found in the cannabis plant, including THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), but only in trace amounts (up to 0.3% by dry weight). This level of THC is generally considered too low to produce the "high" typically associated with Cannabis use.

However, the response to THC, even in small amounts, can vary from person to person. Some individuals may be more sensitive to THC and might experience mild psychoactive effects. For most people, though, the amount of THC in full-spectrum CBD products is not enough to induce a high.

It's also important to consider that the presence of other compounds in full-spectrum CBD, like terpenes and other cannabinoids, may contribute to what's known as the "entourage effect." This effect suggests that these compounds work together synergistically, potentially enhancing the overall benefits of the CBD without producing intoxication.

In summary, while full-spectrum CBD gummies contain THC, the amount is typically too low to get you high. However, individual responses can vary, and it's always a good idea to start with a low dose to see how your body reacts, especially if you are sensitive to THC or have concerns about its effects.

How long does it take for full spectrum CBD gummies to start working?

Typically, the effects of CBD taken in edible form like gummies may be felt within 30 minutes to 2 hours after ingestion. This time frame can vary based on individual factors.

The time it takes for CBD gummies to start working can be influenced by factors such as your metabolism, body weight, and overall digestive health. Additionally, whether you take the gummy on an empty stomach or after a meal can affect the time it takes for the CBD to be absorbed. If you want faster effects, you can chew the gummies and hold them under your tongue, and some of the CBD will enter your bloodstream more quickly.

Are full spectrum CBD gummies good for stress & anxiety?

Full-spectrum CBD gummies are considered by many users and some preliminary research to be potentially beneficial for managing stress and anxiety. Here are a few points to consider:

Full-Spectrum Benefits: Full-spectrum CBD products contain a range of cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC, as well as other beneficial compounds like terpenes and flavonoids found in the cannabis plant. This full range of compounds is believed to contribute to the "entourage effect," where these components work synergistically to enhance each other's effects. This may potentially increase the efficacy of CBD in managing stress and anxiety.

Anxiolytic Properties of CBD: Research has suggested that CBD may have anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) properties. It is believed to interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating mood, stress, and fear responses. However, most of these studies are preliminary, and more comprehensive human trials are needed to better understand how effective CBD is in treating anxiety.

Personal Experience and Sensitivity: The effectiveness of CBD for stress and anxiety can vary from person to person. Factors like individual body chemistry, the severity of anxiety, and personal sensitivity to components in the gummies (including THC) play a role in how effective they may be.

Low Risk of Psychoactive Effects: The low level of THC in full-spectrum CBD gummies is generally not enough to produce psychoactive effects, making them a preferable option for those who want to avoid the "high" associated with higher levels of THC.

Consultation with Healthcare Providers: Before using CBD gummies for stress and anxiety, especially if you have a diagnosed anxiety disorder or are using other medications, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional. This is important to ensure safety, particularly regarding interactions with other medications.

Regulatory and Quality Considerations: It's important to choose high-quality, lab-tested CBD products from reputable manufacturers to ensure you are getting a safe product with the advertised amount of CBD and THC. In summary, while there is growing interest and anecdotal evidence supporting the use of full-spectrum CBD gummies for stress and anxiety, scientific research is still catching up. Individual responses can vary, and it's important to approach use responsibly and, ideally, under the guidance of a healthcare provider.

Will full spectrum CBD gummies show up on a drug test?

Full-spectrum CBD gummies contain trace amounts of THC (up to 0.3%), and this small amount could potentially show up on a drug test. The likelihood of this happening depends on several factors:

Sensitivity of the Drug Test: Some drug tests are more sensitive than others and can detect even very small amounts of THC.

Frequency and Quantity of Use: Regular consumption of full-spectrum CBD products can lead to the accumulation of THC in the body over time, increasing the chances of a positive test result.

Individual Metabolism: How your body processes and eliminates THC can influence whether it is detectable on a drug test. Factors such as metabolism, body fat, and activity level can affect how long THC stays in your system.

Type of Drug Test: Urine tests are the most common form of drug screening and typically have a detection window for THC of 3-30 days, depending on usage and individual factors. Blood, saliva, and hair tests have different detection windows and sensitivities.

It's important to note that while the risk may be low, it is not non-existent. If you are subject to drug testing for employment or other reasons, you should consider this risk. Using our Broad-Spectrum gummies

What does full spectrum CBD mean?

It's important to understand the multiple types of CBD gummies available for sale because some include minor amounts of THC, which is categorized as ‘full spectrum extract’. These are within the Farm Bill 2018 legal limits.

Then there are broad-spectrum CBD gummies that have the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) removed from the CBD, leaving behind the other cannabinoids + CBD.

Finally, there is isolate, which is an isolation of just the CBD cannabinoid.

Hemp gummies with CBD, or cannabidiol, interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, helping to regulate where the body may be underproducing or overproducing something. This is why CBD is thought to be helpful in managing a variety of wellness-related conditions.

Can CBD help with stress?

Stress relief CBD gummies are formulated to help support relaxation and anxiety reduction. Consumers often report that CBD helps to relax and calm, and is enhanced when coupled with ashwagandha, a natural botanical commonly used for stress management.

CBD (cannabidiol) is increasingly being used as a supplement for stress relief, and there is growing anecdotal evidence and preliminary scientific research suggesting it might be beneficial for this purpose. Here are some key points to consider:

Interaction with the Endocannabinoid System: CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS), which plays a role in regulating various bodily functions, including mood, sleep, and stress responses. By influencing the ECS, CBD may help in maintaining a balance in these physiological processes.

Potential Anxiolytic Effects: Some studies have suggested that CBD may have anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) properties. This could make it beneficial for managing stress. For instance, a 2019 study published in "The Permanente Journal" found that CBD may help reduce anxiety in individuals with certain anxiety-related disorders.

Neuroprotective Properties: CBD has been shown to have neuroprotective properties. It may aid in the reduction of stress-related damage to the brain and nervous system.

Non-Psychoactive: Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the other well-known compound in cannabis, CBD does not have psychoactive effects. This means it can be used without the risk of the "high" associated with marijuana, making it a more appealing option for those looking for stress relief without psychoactive effects.

Individual Responses Vary: It's important to note that the effectiveness of CBD for stress can vary significantly from person to person. What works for one individual may not work for another.

Quality and Dosage: The quality of the CBD product and the dosage are crucial. It's important to use high-quality, lab-tested CBD products and to start with a low dose, gradually increasing it until you find what works best for you.

Consultation with Healthcare Providers: If you're considering using CBD for stress, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider. They can provide guidance based on your specific health situation.

In summary, while CBD shows promise as a potential aid for stress, more research is needed to fully understand its effects and optimal use. If you're considering CBD for stress relief, start with a low dose, choose high-quality products, and consider consulting with a healthcare professional.

If you struggle with managing stress or anxiety, then CBD gummies for stress may be an option to help alleviate these symptoms.

CBD vs. Melatonin - Which is better for sleep?

Choosing between CBD and melatonin for sleep depends on individual needs, the nature of the sleep issues, and how your body responds to these supplements. Both have been used to aid sleep, but they work in different ways and may be suitable for different types of sleep problems.

CBD for Sleep:

Mechanism: CBD (cannabidiol) is thought to interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating various bodily functions, including sleep. It may help reduce anxiety and pain, which can in turn improve sleep quality.

Research: Some studies suggest CBD may help with certain sleep disorders and improve overall sleep quality, but research is still in the early stages.

Benefits: CBD may be particularly helpful for people whose sleep issues are related to anxiety, stress, or pain.

Considerations: The effectiveness of CBD for sleep can vary widely between individuals, and finding the right dosage may require some experimentation.

Melatonin for Sleep:

Mechanism: Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced by the body in response to darkness. It helps regulate the sleep-wake cycle. Melatonin supplements can signal to the body that it's time to sleep, making them useful for certain sleep issues.

Research: There is substantial evidence supporting the use of melatonin in regulating sleep cycles, especially for issues like jet lag or shift work disorder.

Benefits: Melatonin is generally considered effective for sleep disorders related to circadian rhythm disruptions.

Considerations: Melatonin may not be as effective for insomnia related to underlying conditions like anxiety or depression.

How does CBN help with sleep?

We've added CBN to our CBD Sleep gummies because this cannabinoid is increasingly being researched for its role in helping to promote sleep. We're constantly looking for ways to make our products more effective at delivering their intended effects which was our goal with our reformulated CBN + CBD Sleep gummies.

CBD vs. CBG - Which is better for pain?

Both CBD and CBG have shown promise for their role in relieving pain in initial studies. CBD may play a stronger role in reducing inflammation, whereas, CBG may be more effective in relieving soreness, stiffness and migraines.

With STLLR CBD + CBG gummies for pain you get the benefits of both cannabinoids working hand-in-hand for maximum efficacy.

It's important to understand that both cannabinoids have distinct properties and potential benefits. Here's a comparison of CBD and CBG in the context of pain management:

CBD for Pain:

Anti-inflammatory Properties: CBD is well-known for its anti-inflammatory effects, which can be beneficial in reducing inflammation-related pain, such as arthritis pain.

Neuroprotective Effects: CBD may help manage neuropathic pain by protecting nerve cells from damage and reducing inflammation.

Widely Studied: There is more research on CBD compared to CBG, especially regarding its effects on pain and inflammation.

Availability: CBD products are more widely available and come in various forms, such as oils, tinctures, gummies, and topical creams.

CBG for Pain:

Analgesic Properties: Early research suggests that CBG might have analgesic (pain-relieving) properties, potentially making it effective for various types of pain.

Anti-inflammatory Effects: Like CBD, CBG also exhibits anti-inflammatory qualities, which could be beneficial in conditions like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and arthritis.

Muscle Relaxant: Some studies indicate that CBG might act as a muscle relaxant, which can be helpful in conditions involving muscle tension and spasms.

Lesser-Known: CBG is less studied and not as well-known as CBD. As a result, there are fewer CBG-specific products on the market.

How long do CBD gummies take to start working for pain?

This is a common question among users of CBD gummies, especially those using them for pain management. The time it takes for CBD gummies to start working can vary based on several factors:

Digestion and Metabolism: CBD gummies are taken orally, which means they need to be digested and then metabolized by your liver before the CBD enters your bloodstream. This process can affect how quickly you begin to feel the effects.

Onset Time: Typically, the effects of CBD from edibles like gummies are felt within 30 minutes to 2 hours after consumption. However, this can vary from person to person.

Individual Factors: Your metabolism, body weight, and overall health can influence how quickly you feel the effects of CBD gummies. Additionally, the effectiveness can be affected by whether you take them on an empty stomach or with food.

Concentration of CBD: The concentration of CBD in the gummies also plays a role. Higher doses may produce more noticeable effects more quickly, but it's always recommended to start with a lower dose and gradually increase it as needed.

Type and Severity of Pain: The nature of your pain (such as chronic vs. acute) can also influence how quickly you feel relief. Some individuals may notice an immediate sense of relaxation or a decrease in pain, while others may need to use the gummies regularly over a period to feel the benefits.

Consistent Use: For chronic pain management, consistent use of CBD gummies can lead to more effective and sustained results. It might take a few days to a few weeks to notice significant improvements in pain levels.

Quality of the Product: The quality and purity of the CBD gummies play a crucial role in how effective they are. Always choose high-quality, lab-tested products from reputable brands.

Remember, while CBD is known for its potential to manage pain, it affects everyone differently. It's important to be patient and give your body time to respond to CBD. If you're new to CBD gummies or using them for pain relief, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you're on other medications or have underlying health conditions.

Do CBD gummies help with pain?

Studies have shown that CBD used for pain treatment can be effective for everyday pain management and may help with reducing the overall sensation of pain in the body.    CBD gummies are often used by individuals seeking to manage pain, and there is growing interest in their potential effectiveness. Here's what current understanding suggests:

Pain Relief Potential: CBD (cannabidiol) is believed to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. It may help alleviate different types of pain, including chronic pain, neuropathic pain, and pain resulting from inflammation.

Interaction with the Endocannabinoid System: CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the body, which plays a role in regulating pain and inflammation. This interaction can potentially help in modulating pain responses.

Studies and Research: Some studies have shown promising results regarding the use of CBD for pain management. However, it's important to note that much of this research is still in early stages, and more comprehensive studies are needed to fully understand CBD's effectiveness in pain relief.

Non-Psychoactive: Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another well-known compound found in cannabis, CBD does not have psychoactive effects. This makes CBD gummies a popular choice for those seeking pain relief without the "high" associated with THC.

Dosage and Quality: The effectiveness of CBD gummies for pain can depend on the dosage and the quality of the product. It's important to start with a lower dose and gradually increase it as needed. Choosing high-quality, lab-tested CBD products is crucial for safety and efficacy.

Individual Variability: Response to CBD can vary greatly from person to person. Factors such as body weight, metabolism, the nature of the pain, and individual body chemistry can influence how effective CBD gummies are for pain relief.

Consultation with Healthcare Providers: If you're considering using CBD gummies for pain, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider. They can provide guidance and help you understand potential interactions with other treatments.

What kind of CBD gummies are best for pain?

CBD is being studied for its role in helping to reduce pain and inflammation. Many users report that full-spectrum CBD is the most effective due to the entourage effect.

STLLR takes this concept and enhances it with our CBD gummies for pain that contain full-spectrum CBD, CBG an emerging cannabinoid being studied for pain relief and ginger an all-natural anti-inflammatory for a spicy dose of relief.

How do I use CBD gummies?

Using CBD gummies is quite straightforward and similar to consuming any gummy supplement. Here's a simple guide on how to use them:

Start with the Recommended Dosage: It's usually a good idea to start with the lowest suggested dose, especially if you are new to CBD. Dosing is different for everyone but beginner doses typically range from 10-25mg. Always consult a doctor for medical advice.

Consume the Gummy: Take a CBD gummy and chew it thoroughly before swallowing. Chewing well can aid in the breakdown of the gummy and speed up the digestion process.

Wait for the Effects: CBD gummies need to pass through the digestive system, so it might take some time for the effects to kick in. Generally, you can expect to start feeling the effects within 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Monitor Your Body's Response: Pay attention to how your body reacts to the CBD. Look for changes in your symptoms or any side effects.

Adjust the Dosage If Needed: If you feel that the initial dose is not providing the desired relief, you can gradually increase the dosage. However, it's advisable to do this slowly and not to exceed the maximum recommended dosage.

Consistent Use for Best Results: For ongoing issues, such as chronic pain or anxiety, consistent use of CBD gummies might yield better results. CBD builds up in your system over time, so regular intake can help maintain a steady level of CBD in your body.

Store Properly: Keep your CBD gummies in a cool, dry place to preserve their potency and shelf life.

Consult Healthcare Provider: If you are using other medications or have health concerns, it's a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider before starting CBD gummies to avoid any unwanted interactions.

CBD gummies take time to build up in your system and work best when taken consistently. If you're just getting started we recommend a full 30-days of daily use to gauge effectiveness (at least 14).

Remember, the effectiveness of CBD can vary from person to person, and what works for one individual might not work for another. It's important to find the right dosage and frequency that works best for your specific needs.

What is CBD, and what is hemp oil extract?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the more than 100 cannabinoids naturally occurring in hemp plants. Cannabinoids are a special class of naturally occurring compounds that show potential for improving a broad array of health conditions. Hemp plants are not marijuana; they are federally legal strains of the cannabis plant that are ultra-low in THC.

Hemp oil extract is made from the oil extracted from hemp flower, which is then further refined and sometimes distilled to concentrate the beneficial cannabinoids and eliminate the fats, waxes, and tars naturally occurring within the plant. Hemp oil extract contains concentrated amounts of cannabidiol — and many other cannabinoids that work together

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Hemp is a type of cannabis plant that is extremely low in THC, the compound in marijuana that makes you high. The hemp strains used to create our hemp oil extract products are bred to be high in cannabidiol and ultra-low in THC.

What is the best type of product to use?

All of our products are designed to deliver the benefits of hemp oil extract. We are strong believers in the idea that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure – and daily use of our ingestible products (Droppers, Soft Gels, Gummies) is the best way to ensure you achieve homeostasis (“a tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium”), in other words, balance in your health and well-being, a steady mood, increased focus, and sound sleep. Not just relief from pain when it happens, but stopping pain before it starts, from the inside out.

Depending upon your needs, if you prefer to use the topical cream, apply externally directly over affected areas for targeted relief of pain and soreness.

What is the "entourage effect"?

In contrast to single molecule products that contain just isolated cannabidiol (CBD), “full spectrum” hemp oil extracts typically include cannabidiol, trace amounts of THC, and more than 100 other cannabinoid compounds. Many of these compounds interact synergistically to create what scientists refer to as an “entourage effect” that magnifies the therapeutic benefits of the plant’s individual components—so the beneficial impact of the whole plant is greater than the sum of its parts.

Should I stop taking my medicine?

Please consult with your treating physician about your health conditions and medication. Hemp oil extracts are not approved medicines and are not intended to be substituted for medication prescribed by physicians. It can be dangerous to discontinue certain medications. Always consult with your physician before making any changes to prescribed therapy regimens, including medication.

Cannabidiol may affect the metabolism of other medications. Anyone intending to use the product for certain medical conditions or while using prescribed medications should consult with their physician before doing so.

Are hemp seed oil and hemp oil extract the same thing?

Hemp seed oil is a food-grade oil usually cold-pressed from hemp seeds for use in salad dressings and cooking. There are no beneficial amounts of cannabinoids in hemp seed oil. Our hemp oil extracts are concentrates made from oil extracted from hemp flower grown from strains high in cannabidiol, which are rich in beneficial cannabinoids.

Where do you ship?

We ship our hemp oil extract products to all 50 states. Our products are 100% federally legal in every way. Nonetheless, the laws of several states currently contain restrictions on possession and use of cannabidiol. We do not list cannabidiol as an ingredient in our lists of ingredients. The hemp oil extracts we use in formulation do contain naturally occurring cannabidiol. Any state or local legal risk passes to the customer upon shipping, in accordance with our shipping policy stated elsewhere on our website.

Where do you source your hemp from?

We source our hemp from our farms in Oregon, USA. Our cultivation methods are natural, regenerative, pesticide-free, herbicide-free, and GMO-free. We control every aspect of the propagation, cultivation, harvest, extraction, and formulation to create best-in-class products for you.

Are your products legal? Can I take them with me to another country?

Our products are derived from federally legal hemp grown in the USA, and as such, are 100% federally legal in the United States. Some state laws impose different details for label content, and our labels are legal in the states in which our products are formulated, packaged, and shipped to consumers. We label our products in a way that is broadly compliant with the laws of most states. If you are a wholesale purchaser buying products for resale in your state, you may want to consult a local attorney about your state’s laws and regulations regarding hemp oil extract products to be re-sold in your state.

Although many of our products can be conveniently packed for travel, we do not export our products to other countries, and we recommend that you don’t either. If you are going to travel to another country and plan to take our products with you, please research the legality of possessing, consuming, or importing products that contain CBD in the destination country before you go. In some countries, the penalties are quite severe, including large fines and lengthy prison terms. Don’t risk it.

What is the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) was discovered by Israeli researcher Dr. Ralph Mechoulam in the mid-1990s. The human body has two types of cannabinoid receptors that play an important role in your immune system, glucose metabolism, insulin resistance, and blood formation. These receptors also play a role in cognition, memory, mood, motor function, sensory, autonomic, and neurocrine responses.

They are responsible for inflammation’s effect on your body, and vomiting, nausea, hunger, and appetite control. They are configured to accept only cannabinoids like CBD (cannabidiol), such as that found in hemp oil extract. It has been said the discovery of the ECS is the most important development in medicine since the discovery of the sterile surgical technique.
